Numbers 16:1- 18:32
July 6th, 2019

Numbers 16:1-4 Now Korah, son of Izhar son of Kohat….. rose up against Moses and took 250 men from Bnei-Yisrael, men of renown who had been appointed to the council.  They assembled against Moses and Aaron. They said to them, “You’ve gone too far! All the community is holy—all of them—and Adonai is with them! Then why do you exalt yourselves above the assembly of Adonai?” When Moses heard this, he fell on his face.

God is Sending You Forth

Why?? Acts 15:21  For from the earliest times, Moshe has in every city those who proclaim him, with his words being read in the synagogues every Shabbat.“

Have you realized He has sent us and You out??

Moses sends twelve spies (represents all Israel) to the land of Canaan (represents the world, where you live, Colorado,USA).

Forty days (a period of labor) later they returned,  (from their visit to the world) carrying a huge a cluster of grapes, pomegranates and figs, to report on a bountiful land. (Abundance)

Two reports: But ten of the spies, (FLESH REPORT IN WHAT THEY SAW) warn that the inhabitants of the land are giants & warriors, more powerful than us BUT only Caleb and Joshua (MEN WHO HAVE COVENANTED WITH YAH) insist that the land can be conquered. That’s FAITH, PROPHECY IN THE SPIRIT!!

Which PROPHECY report comes out of our mouths??

Week #36 - New Wine - The Challenge

Week #36 - New Wine - The Challenge

Luke 5:33-39
June 22nd, 2019

Luke 5:36-39 Now he was also telling them a parable. “No one tears a patch from a new garment to use it on an old garment. Otherwise he will rip the new, and the patch from the new will not match the old. And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins, it will be spilled out, and the skins will be destroyed. But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins. No man who drinks old wine wants new, because he says, ‘The old is fine.’”

Shavuot - What's So Important?

Shavuot - What's So Important?

Shavuot at Mt. Sinai
Ten Commandments to Israel

The Book of Ruth is read during Shavuot, because it takes place during Shavuot & because Ruth is thought to convert on Shavuot.

Jewish tradition teaches that King David (Ruth’s great-great-grandson) was born and died on Shavuot.

Shavuot is 50 days (Pentecost in Greek, meaning 50th) after Passover. The 49 days in between are known as the Omer!

The Torah, God’s Guidance and Instruction was given to God’s people, then on Shavuot, in Exodus and again in Acts 2.
