During Israel's journey there were times of unity and times of disunity.

And now, the Israelites have worked together the past 6-7 months building the elements for the Tabernacle.

Moses is being instructed by YHWH on how to erect, set-up, raise the Tabernacle. And now they have reached a climatic moment in their journey.

Exodus 40:38 For the cloud of Adonai was on the Tabernacle by day and a fire was there by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel throughout all their journeys.

(1165) ח ד ac: Unite co: Unit ab: Unity: The pictograph ח (Hhet) is a picture of a wall. The ד (Dalet) is a picture of a door. Combined these mean "wall door". A wall separates the inside from the outside. Only through the door can one enter or exit uniting the inside with the outside.

C) ח דא ac: Unite co: ? ab: Unity: A uniting together. All things are a unity with something else (one man is a unity of body, breath and mind, one family is a unity of father, mother and children, one tree is a unity of trunk, branches and leaves, one forest is a unity of trees).

Unity can have both positive and negative outcomes. (The Tower of Babel, for example)

Genesis 11:4-7 Then they said, “Come! Let’s build ourselves a city, with a tower whose top reaches into heaven. So let’s make a name for ourselves, or else we will be scattered over the face of the whole land.” Then Adonai came down to see the city and the tower that the sons of man had built. Adonai said, “Look, the people are one and all of them have the same language. So this is what they have begun to do. Now, nothing they plan to do will be impossible. Come! Let Us go down and confuse their language there, so that they will not understand each other’s language.”

First Things First

In order to have “perfect unity” with each other, we first must be one with Yeshua.

The Unity/Oneness with The Spirit

Ephesians 4:1-4 Therefore I, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you were called—with complete humility and gentleness, with patience, putting up with one another in love, making every effort to keep the unity of the Ruach in the bond of shalom. There is one body and one Ruach, just as you also were called in one hope of your calling;

The Tabernacle Is A Culmination Of Unity

Psalm 133:1-3 A Song of Ascents. Of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, coming down upon the beard—Aaron’s beard—coming down on the collar of his robes. It is like the dew of Hermon, coming down upon the mountains of Zion. For there Adonai commanded the blessing—life forevermore!

John 17:20-23 “I pray not on behalf of these only, but also for those who believe in Me through their message, that they all may be one. Just as You, Father, are in Me and I am in You, so also may they be one in Us, so the world may believe that You sent Me. The glory that You have given to Me I have given to them, that they may be one just as We are one—I in them and You in Me—that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me and loved them as You loved Me.

Romans 12:4-5 For just as we have many parts in one body—and all the parts do not have the same function—so we, who are many, are one body in Messiah and everyone parts of one another.
