Israel's birthday!
Independence Day
Sermon Notes;
On the 5th day of Iyar the Hebrew calendar, the anniversary of the day on which Israeli independence was proclaimed, when David Ben-Gurion publicly read the Israeli Declaration of Independence.
The Gregorian date was May 14th, 1948.
SO WHO IS ISRAEL???
Is there a nation called Israel or A Faith in the Covenant that is Israel??
Yahweh made Covenant with the first generation Israel at MT SINAI. Exodus 34
Yahweh then made another Covenant with the 2nd generation, with mercy and grace.
Daverim has the 2nd Covenant…
Deuteronomy 29:14-15 And not with you alone I am making this covenant and this oath, but with those who stands here with us today before יהוה our Elohim, as well as with him who is not here with us today.
The Lost Sheep; Deuteronomy 30:1 “And it shall be, when all these words come upon you, the blessing and the curse which I have set before you, and you shall bring them back to your heart among all the gentiles where יהוה your Elohim drives you,"
In this new Covenant He will also Circumcise your Heart, 30:6,16.
That’s us‼
The New Covenant:
Jeremiah 31:31-32 "See, the days are coming,” declares יהוה, “when I shall make a new covenant with (BOTH) the house of Yisra’ĕl and with the house of Yehuḏah, not like the covenant I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt/Mitsrayim, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them,” “For this is the covenant I shall make with the house of Yisra’ĕl after those days, declares יהוה: I shall put My Torah in their inward parts-mind & write it on their hearts. I shall be their Elohim, and they shall be My people."
When David was KING, 7 years Judah, then 33 years ALL 12 Tribes of ISRAEL.
Also in the Brit Chadashah; Hebrews 8:7-10 Repeated Again
There is both a physical and a spiritual ISRAEL.
Romans 9:6 But the present condition of Isra'el does not mean that the Word of God has failed. For not everyone from Isra'el is truly part of Isra'el;(PHYSICAL)
Romans 9:7 indeed, not all the descendants are seed of Avraham; rather, "What is to be called your 'seed' will be in Yitz'chak." (THE PROMISE!) spiritual.
Romans 9:8 In other words, it is not the physical children who are children of God, but the children of the promise refers to who are considered seed.(SPIRITUAL ISRAEL)
Romans 11:17 We are the wild branches being grafted into ISRAEL. (SPIRITUAL ISRAEL)
We can’t neglect the Words of Messiah; "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the House of Yisrael." Mat 15:24
So to make this true, religion has made us ISRAEL and replaced the PHYSICAL ISRAEL.
It is called Replacement Theology and it essentially teaches that the church has replaced Israel in God’s plan.
Many followers of replacement theology believe the Jews are no longer God’s chosen people, and God does not have specific future plans for the nation of Israel, or they are on a separate plan. (Not Scriptural). The church has replaced Israel (replacement theology).
Replacement theology teaches that the promises that are made to Israel in the Bible are fulfilled ONLY BY the Christian church, not in Israel.
Romans 9:4 The people of Isra'el! They were made God's children, the Sh'khinah has been with them, & the covenants are theirs, likewise the giving of the Torah, the Temple service and the promises (belong to Israel).
Clearly not replaced; Romans 15:8 For I say that the Messiah became a servant of the Jewish people in order to show God's truthfulness by making good his promises to the Patriarchs,
God has made room for the Spiritual ISRAEL;
Galations 3:16 Now the promises were made to Avraham and to his seed. It doesn't say, "and to seeds," as if to many; on the contrary, it speaks of one - "and to your seed" - and this "one" is the Messiah. (Through the lineage of Isaac‼)
Not by might, power, but those who are led by Spirit… Zechariah 4:6
Ezekiel 36:27 and put My Spirit within you. And I shall cause you to walk in My ways, and law and guard My right-rulings and shall do them.
He is Building His Kingdom, His Israel for those who have graduated from “DIVISION-DOCTRINE”,
Is not My Word like a fire? declares יהוה,and like a hammer that shatters a rock? Jerehiah 23:29 The Rock is Yeshua, it’s shattered so it can be everywhere.
We’re not here to build a building – we’re here to build people, and build the Kingdom of Israel.
Yeshua came to build His Kingdom Israel, to transform people’s lives!
He came for the lost sheep of HIS ISRAEL‼
When we build the ISRAEL Kingdom, people’s lives are changed!
What are you building TODAY?? Yes, YOU??
It is important to realize that Judah, now called Jews is only a part of all Israel. Jews are a part of the house of Israel. Israel and Judah are not one in the same.
After Solomon’s son, Rehoboam, caused the split. ISRAEL BECAME TWO NATIONS AGAIN, Judah and Israel.
They became pagan idol worshippers and would worship their two golden calves & the descendants of Israel are who Ezekiel is addressing & we see Judah became the Jews in the time of Messiah.
Matthew 5:17-18 I came not to abolish the torah and the prophets.
So he was returning us to his father's commandments and the Torah and the prophets not to the religion of Jews which we have today. The spirit of the Torah that Paul talks about is the real Israel.
He feels that the Torah is so important that Proverbs 28:9 says that if you turn away your ear from the hearing of the Torah your prayers will be an abomination.
There is a nation of Israel in the land of Israel.
It is having its 70th birthday and we are celebrating.
But there is a Spiritual Israel.
An Israel that you are grafted into, and it is a Kingdom where you walk by spirit.
It is not a set of rules, it is not a membership in a club or synagogue, or church and it is grafting in by the SPIRIT because you hunger and thirst for God's righteousness.
It is His plan to bring Jews and Gentiles together.
Ezekiel 37:17 Then bring them together for yourself into one stick & they shall become one in your hand. ISRAEL! AMEIN
