This is the Year “To Find HIS Fullness in YOU”
The Septuagint renamed the Hebrew Book of Devarim to its Greek name Deuteronomy, originating from two words: (1) deuteros = second & (2) nomos = law. So we have the reviews of the “law-Torah,” but we know it is the Living Torah!! This 2nd giving is called the Torah of Mount Horeb, it is the same with strong emphasis on having a “Circumcised life and Heart”, and do you??
Please note: A special Hidden understanding that is so Very Important to your Walk, and Relationship with HIM. The Torah of Sinai had 613 Mitzvot, but it didn’t include the Commandment in Deuteronomy 10:16, & Deuteronomy 30:6. This one Commandment is the Secret access to Yahweh that Abraham had, that all the Prophets had, this Access is Yeshua, He is the Circumcised Heart, that brings you to the Ladder, the Door, The Gate, The Aleph – Tav.
Chapter 30 Vows and Oaths -The Importance of our Word; this section is given by Moses to the heads of the tribes-Matot. Verses 1-2 Is your word your bond, your oath? Yes it is, so be careful! Speak life
Chapter 33 Starts out explaining about their journeys, all of them, but the journey is a wilderness and mountain top experience. It is a picture of “Progressive Revelation”, the stages of life in our journeys. You are maturing, in stages, -massa-, (see definitions). You are becoming an overcomer. You are becoming a life giving Spirit of Yahweh in Yeshua.
Pinchas is one of the few Parashah named after an individual. To appreciate how unusual this is, there is no Parashah named Abraham, nor is there one named Isaac, Jacob, Rivka, (Rebekah) Rachel, Leah, Joseph, Moses or Aaron. Clearly, Pinchas was one of the all-time heroes of Jewish history. What was his claim to fame? In an act of tremendous self-sacrifice (and at great personal danger), Pinchas acted to stop a public display of immorality, which had triggered a plague that was killing thousands. Pinchas had stepped forward at a time when everyone else had given up, and for this he was rewarded by God with the "Covenant of Peace."
What a great example of a rebellion that has happened before & does happened and will happen again: A powerful anointing of Yahweh’s choice, not ours. His way & only His way and we have always wanted “My Way”. Last week we were in Korah, in the 2nd year, now we jump almost to the fortieth year, and it’s time to have a way to be redeemed (The Water of Purification) for those who will leave Israel & have a way to return. The last verse in 22:1 …pitched in the plains of Moab on this side of the Jordan by Jericho; Almost across the Jordan. Almost Home, but still being tested!!
America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves. — Abraham Lincoln
This is what we have in this week’s Torah study. Balak tries to have Bil’am destroy Israel from the outside 4 times. “You can not Curse what is blessed”. The time has come to deal with the Real Enemy of the ‘Kingdom of Yahweh’. He is moving in His Spirit to work on YOU, and in YOU! The Remnant (YOU) will not allow the Kingdom to be destroyed from within! Get the Anointing from the Word, THE LIVING WORD; it is a Fire?? Jeremiah 23:29
A great in- A great in-depth study of our nature, character and rebellion depth study of our nature, character and rebellion. Take this one to heart, can you work Take this one to heart, can you work with one another, are you part of the Yeshua Code, with one another, are you part of the Yeshua Code, the Yeshua factor, to “Be One”??
The Sabbath before Pesach is called Sabbath HaGadol: “The Great Sabbath.” This is a great study of our “flesh nature” being a living sacrifice, offered up to Yahweh as His Witness and Bride. The actual understanding of Korban (Offering) is to be in His presence - “to come near."
This week’s study is a powerful picture of Yeshua. The five types of Korban (offerings) listed below are to bring us into HIS presence. We will always have a struggle with the flesh, even as Shaul (Paul) wrote in Romans 5; we continue to “do what we don’t want to do, and we don’t do what we should do.” Why? Our flesh is still alive and it is warring with our Yeshua Spirit in us. Thank Yahweh we have HIS Love, passion and the Korban of HIS flesh life, Yeshua.
This concept of a spiritual accounting plays an important role in this week's Torah portion, P’kudei. A major theme in the Parasha is how Moses gives an accounting of the materials used to build the Tabernacle. The close of Exodus gives us the full picture of Yahweh’s “Redemption.” Nachmanides (Ramban) mentions that “Redemption” should be the name of the book of Exodus. As man lost the right to be in YHVH’s presence at the Garden, it is now restored. Salvation, forgiveness, guidelines on how to live, how to worship, and when to worship are the major themes we’ll see in this week’s study, including HIS presence in HIS sanctuary—us. The Ark of the Testimony brings us into HIS witness.
