This is an account of one righteous man (Tzadik) in an evil generation. This nation is just like ours. Notice Noah was obedient to what he was told, but He was so very different. “Noah, build a huge boat, ark, one and half times bigger than a football field.” Do you think people saw him as different?
Start the Biblical year out with a Great Hunger and Thirst for HIS Righteousness and the Word, Yeshua
Genesis 1:1 "B'reshiyth bara' elohim את et ha shamayim v'et את ha eretz
1:1 Genesisבראשׁית ברא אלהים את השׁמים ואת הארץ ׃
In The Beginning was the את Aleph-Tav heaven & the את Aleph Tav earth. John said in Revelation that Yeshua is the Aleph-Tav. YESHUA is the Aleph-Tav!!!
Everything was created by Yeshua. Revelation 4:11, Colossians 1:6; John 1:3
This is the Year to Build the Body. 1 Corinthians 14:12
This is the Year of “To Find HIS Fullness in YOU” My New Beginning!!
Simchat Torah - Simchat Torah -The Joy of God’s Teaching and Instructions
The majesty of God; the blessings of the twelve tribes; the Excellency of Israel. Moses from mount Nebo views the land; he dies there; his burial; his age; thirty days’ mourning for him, Joshua succeeds him; the praise of Moses.
Revelation 21:3 - And I heard a great voice from the throne, saying: Behold the tabernacle of Elohim is with(in) men: and he will dwell (Sukkot) with them. And they shall be his people: and God himself with them shall be their God. (DRB)
1 Corinthians 3:16 - Don’t you know that you that you are the temple of the Living God and that the Spirit of Yahweh dwells in you?
If you Read all these Scriptures, even the ones in the Brit, it will enlighten you and put a fire in and put a fire in you all week long!
Is Yahweh dwelling in YOU?
…Which is what you are already singing, (Revelation 15:3) and the song of the Lamb. This Rock Yeshua is the Foundation (Ephesians 2:20) and this is the foundation or the Rock to build upon, & this what we are learning in Torah, There is no ‘Salvation’ in any other rock or job or lifestyle; so set your priorities in HIM. Notice in Revelation 21 there are 12 foundations, Jewels, (Rocks) which are the attributes of Yeshua. All 12 of them are in Matthew 5-7, can you find them?? Shalom: You can find and give Spirit and Life in the Living Rock, 1st Corinthians 10:4. You have the Living water and the Bread of Life!
Our tongues curse so many people. Please be careful what you say to others, how you judge them, and curse them. Curse not Israel or you will receive the curse. Ask for some wisdom, and you will receive it! This portion is so powerful in the Spirit of HIS kingdom, Self-Examination, Constant Introspection.
We see Aaron's sons (priests) die when they approach God's presence with "strange fire", not the way they were just trained and instructed to do. What does this lesson hold for us, regarding the way we might approach God on our terms?
Look at the “Pattern”. There is a process to coming into HIS presence, it hasn’t changed. Nadab and Abihu didn’t follow the prescribed procedure, the “Pattern” and they came in with their agenda and their way. There is only one way to come into HIS presence. So what has been your approach, your pattern or “strange sacrifice”?? This picture is filled with Yeshua. The priests are given directions to make atonement; Yeshua is the atonement for us! We have the results if we don’t follow His procedures (“Choose Life”). Then we have directions for Kashrut, showing two things:
(1) The areas of physical “Clean” & “Unclean”. Tahor & Tamei
(2) The areas of Spiritual Tables that we eat from today of “Clean’ & “Unclean”.
The Sabbath before Pesach is called Sabbath HaGadol: “The Great Sabbath.” This is a great study of our “flesh nature” being a living sacrifice, offered up to Yahweh as His Witness and Bride. The actual understanding of Korban (Offering) is to be in His presence - “to come near."
This week’s study is a powerful picture of Yeshua. The five types of Korban (offerings) listed below are to bring us into HIS presence. We will always have a struggle with the flesh, even as Shaul (Paul) wrote in Romans 5; we continue to “do what we don’t want to do, and we don’t do what we should do.” Why? Our flesh is still alive and it is warring with our Yeshua Spirit in us. Thank Yahweh we have HIS Love, passion and the Korban of HIS flesh life, Yeshua.
This concept of a spiritual accounting plays an important role in this week's Torah portion, P’kudei. A major theme in the Parasha is how Moses gives an accounting of the materials used to build the Tabernacle. The close of Exodus gives us the full picture of Yahweh’s “Redemption.” Nachmanides (Ramban) mentions that “Redemption” should be the name of the book of Exodus. As man lost the right to be in YHVH’s presence at the Garden, it is now restored. Salvation, forgiveness, guidelines on how to live, how to worship, and when to worship are the major themes we’ll see in this week’s study, including HIS presence in HIS sanctuary—us. The Ark of the Testimony brings us into HIS witness.
