Pinchas is one of the few Parashah named after an individual. To appreciate how unusual this is, there is no Parashah named Abraham, nor is there one named Isaac, Jacob, Rivka, (Rebekah) Rachel, Leah, Joseph, Moses or Aaron. Clearly, Pinchas was one of the all-time heroes of Jewish history. What was his claim to fame? In an act of tremendous self-sacrifice (and at great personal danger), Pinchas acted to stop a public display of immorality, which had triggered a plague that was killing thousands. Pinchas had stepped forward at a time when everyone else had given up, and for this he was rewarded by God with the "Covenant of Peace."

The Remnant (YOU) will not allow the Kingdom to be destroyed from within! Get the Anointing from the Word, THE LIVING WORD; it is a Fire?? Jeremiah 23:29

Last week we were in Korah, in the 2nd year, now we jump almost to the fortieth year, and it’s time to have a way to be redeemed (The Water of Purification) for those who will leave Israel & have a way to return. The last verse in 22:1 …pitched in the plains of Moab on this side of the Jordan by Jericho; Almost across the Jordan. Almost Home, but still being tested!!

Then Chapter 27, Youthe Priests are going to redeem what belongs to Yahweh. John 3:16, the world in Greek, “cosmos” literally means “the proper order”. You will return the “proper order” to this life. Wow! What He has planned for You is awesome!

Leviticus 26 tells us more about life with, and without Torah (this is not our salvation). Life as a natural law of slavery, and a loss of His Spirit, (Deuteronomy 28:15-68), but (v.44-45) “I will remember the covenant with them.” These are the days and the times of His restoration. Start eating every ‘Word’ that proceeds from the mouth of Yahweh. It Must be the Word that is alive and living!!!

A Few Hebrew Definitions

  1. If, H518, ם א im: conditional clause. (Conditional on what?) All of Yahweh’s Blessings have an “If – Then” clause!

  2. Walk, H1980, ך ל ה Halach: to go, walk, come, live, manner of life, the walk. The way to go after you return to Him—repent then “Halach.” Think of words like the pathway, the way, the lame, these are all related to HIS Walk, Jeremiah 6:16.

  3. Statutes, H2708, ה ּ ק ח Chukkah: ordinance, limit, “lasting impressions,” something prescribed.

  4. Keep, H8104,ר מ ּ ש Shamar: To guard, observe, give heed. To guard as a watchman over Israel. 5. Commandments, H4687, ה ו צ מ Mitzvah: commands; code of wisdom, acts of righteousness.

  5. To DO, H6213, ה ּ ש ע Asah: to do, did/done, make, doer of the WORD, James 1:18.

  6. Rain, H1653, ם ּ ש ּ ג Geshem: rain, early & latter. Exodus 16, “I will rain bread from Heaven.”

    1. To fall in drops from the clouds, (The Body of Messiah is the cloud).

    2. Yahweh said to Moses, behold I will rain bread from heaven for you. Exodus 16:4. Rain is Life-Yeshua.

    3. Ezekiel 1:28 “As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain,” (The Bow is in US, He will not destroy the “Eretz,” us, with the Mark) “so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This [was] the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw [it], I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spoke”
