What if this is Also about MESSIAH??

• Land, H776 ארץ eretz; land, earth, country, territory, or inhabitants of Yahweh.

• Inheritance,(HIS) H5159, נ ח ל ה nachala: possession, property, heritage, You Are His Co-Heir! Rom 8:17-19, Gal 3:29, Tit 3:7,

If you are a Kingdom of Priests, (I Peter 2:5,9) then what is your inheritance??

This is the month leading up to the fall feasts. A time to prepare the Bride to get ready to meet her King.

Song of Solomon 6:3 - I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine. He browses among the lilies.

Elul is known as “the month of preparation.”

It is to be a time of introspection.

This is a time to pause and consider our ways, to set goals for personal improvement for the coming year.  

In fact, the Hebrew root of the word  shofar rpwc H7782 is the word  shaper rpc H8231 which means to “glisten”, “cause to be fair, goodly”, “to improve.”

Many will daily sound a shofar. Reminding them to look inward to discover what is needed for improvement.

It is the sound of The King’s Voice calling us out to the field to meet with Him.

This parashah (portion) sets out rules for JUDGES, KINGS, PRIESTS, PROPHETS,  CITIES OF REFUGE, WITNESSES, WAR AND UNSOLVED MURDER VICTIMS.

Our father is appointing us as judges, kings, and priests over every issue in life that comes into our realm or scope of being!

Deuteronomy 16:18 “Appoint judges and officers within all your gates, which YHVH your Elohim is giving you, according to your tribes. And they shall judge the people with righteous right-ruling. “Do not distort right-ruling. Do not show partiality, nor take a bribe (shachad, שׁחד H7810, even a gift or reward, it may have strings attached), or a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the righteous.”

As His special appointed judges we are to judge everything!!

Matthew 7:7 “Ask, and it shall be given to you. Seek, and you shall find. Knock, and it shall be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it shall be opened.

Deuteronomy 12:4-5 “Do not do so to יהוה your Elohim, but seek the place which יהוה your Elohim chooses, out of all your tribes, to put His Name there, for His Dwelling Place, and there you shall enter.
