Verse 12: For just as the body is one but has many parts; and all the parts of the body, though many, constitute one body; so it is with the Messiah.
Each of us has a role within the church body, and these parts to play are not in conflict.
In this portion, we see Phineas/Pinchas doing a “ZEALOUS” act of violence & yet he is rewarded by Yahweh with a Covenant of Peace-Shalom. IRONIC??
Yahweh said , "he was ZEALOUS FOR YAHWEH"
"My covenant of peace shall be unto him and to his seed after him…This is because he was ZEALOUS for YAHWEH and made atonement for the children of Isra'el."

Throughout Israel’s journey, YHWH had to discipline them. They murmured, complained, rebelled, argued, got angry, were ungrateful and so on. These outward expressions were from a heart of unbelief.
